Purpose:
The project involves the establishment of three main work streams: 1 Engagement of the Nominating Organisations, selected by the Government, who will be responsible for identifying the school students (and thus their families and applicable premises) who will be potentially eligible for an SSBI service. 2 Development of a wholesale nbn commercial offer for RSPs to participate and provide 12 months of retail internet access, and modem, to the premises of the eligible families. The Government expects participating RSPs to provide the SSBI service to participants free of charge. 3 Building end-to-end systems and processes to help support identification of families by the Nominating Organisations, through to wholesale rebates and other payments to RSPs in relation to activated SSBI services.
