Purpose:
The purpose of the grant is to facilitate and deliver a full day Forest and Timber Industry tour for Gympie State High School exploring Forestry Management and Timber Production processes in the Maryborough Statistical Area Level 4 Queensland region. The industry tour will provide senior secondary students and teaching staff with first-hand insight into the working environment of the forest and timber industry supply chain, with participants to gain an understanding of Vocational Education Training (VET) requirement pathways for further education, training and employment on completion of education.
