Purpose:
This project aims to educate the wider community on issues facing the health of the environment by involving the community in monitoring the health of the environment using citizen scientists. This project builds on our extensive experience in managing volunteers in environmental monitoring and will expand our citizen science dataset to SE Qld. The education program will also extend into schools by linking curriculum based learning to localised issues.
