Purpose:
The project involves the development of a Technology Maker Space specialising in the use of digital, additive technologies through the use of a 3D printer. An existing teaching environment will be partitioned to create a dedicated maker space. This learning environment will be utilised by students ranging from year 7 right through to year 12 across a range of key learning areas and subjects. The Technology Maker Space will be a safe, user–friendly environment where students and staff are welcome to experiment without fear of failure regardless of their current digital literacy level.
