Purpose:
Lucas Heights Community School has introduced STEAM into our revamped Radio Controlled Outdoor Race track. With student built transponders to measure speed, place and time students gain hands on experiences working with electronics. Part of the allocated time during a Thursday afternoon also grants students the opportunity to learn all aspects of maintaining and repairing remote controlled cars including the addition of Arduino coding devices and creations.
