Purpose:
The RYCO Sensor suite project will enable development of a world–first technology to facilitate transmission of a range of data from automotive sensors connected to filters to a smartphone. The new generation of sensor technology will promote Ryco Group ('RYCO') as an industry leader of Automotive 'Internet of Things' (IoT) and the project will build the organisation's technical capabilities. The technology and unique selling proposition will make this a flagship product for new export market penetration. Having conducted extensive market and feasibility research, RYCO has established strong demand for the product but requires expert input from a range of prototyping and testing facilities to expedite bringing the product to market.
