Purpose:
The Pedders Load Ryder on board scales project will enable the development of technology providing accurate safety critical load/weight data to vehicle users, Occupational Health and Safety representatives and fleet managers.
The new on–board scales are designed promote Pedders’ status as an industry leader and capture additional share in the light commercial vehicles market. The opportunity exists for this product to develop in domestic and offshore markets.
Having conducted extensive market and project feasibility research, a patent for the product has been applied for. Pedders now requires expert input from a range of prototyping and testing facilities to expedite bringing the product to market and capturing first mover advantage.
