Purpose:
Directed Electronics is Australia's leading manufacturer of OEM fleet management solutions. Directed is investing in a world–class vehicle electronics manufacturing line for the production of high–end, domestically produced devices for local and international markets. The manufacturing line will be among the most advanced in Australia, allowing Directed to capitalise on extensive R&D, increase exports, improve product quality, and target sustainability outcomes. Strategically, the project will capitalise on Directed's unique position as an innovation leader in transport and logistics technology, and in turn modernise the Australian automotive and freight industries through data–driven insights.
