Embracing digital disruption in hospitals to impove outcomes among vulnerable people
Purpose:
Hospitals are transitioning to paperless systems and processes. Siloed clinical systems are being superseded with unprecedented investment in integrated digital communication technologies including integrated electronic medical records and data linkage warehouses. This research program seeks to embrace the digitisation of hospitals by using digital information recorded in electronic systems to better understand how we can improve trauma-related care for people hospitalised with injuries.
