Purpose:
Our goal for this project is to upgrade our solar system which will reduce our environmental impact by producing our own electricity. This will minimise costs for attending families. Our current system is a very minimal 1.5kw system which was originally installed through a government subsidy. Upgrading will align with our centre vision of becoming more sustainable. This project aligns with our Quality Improvement Plan under the Quality Area 3. Environmentally responsible � Element 3.2.3. The service cares for the environment and supports children to become environmentally responsible. The project has also been a priority of our centre Operational Plan for a number of years. Harnessing the abundant solar energy in our region is just one simple way we can make a difference. WE have received 3 quotes and have chosen Circuit Alert Electrical and Solar to install our system if we are successful. They have recommended a 15.54 kw system and have quoted $11,100.
