Grant Program:
Practitioner Fellowship
Grant Activity:
Improving the lung health of children especially for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children
Purpose:

As a children's lung specialist with a passion in Indigenous child health, my vision is to improve the lung health (thus subsequently adult lung health) of children, esp. Indigenous children. The benefits of the series of studies undertaken during my fellowship will extend beyond early life as addressing child lung health changes the lung health trajectory. My community centred approach, multi-disciplinary team and national-international network will ensure effective research translation.
