Grant Activity:
Improving Outcomes in Osteoarthritis: Developing Tailored Treatments to Specific Subsets of Patients with Osteoarthritis
Purpose:
Osteoarthritis (OA) is a highly heterogeneous condition. The current ‘one size fits all’ approach to OA management is not working. This research program consists of five studies (four fully-funded) to identify OA clinical subgroups and to develop tailored treatments for selected OA patients. By doing so, it will lead to the development of effective treatments, improvements in patients’ outcomes and substantial healthcare costs saving.
