Grant Activity:
Developing New Treatments for Severe Preeclampsia
Purpose:
In 20 percent of pregnancies women have to have their baby very early because the woman herself becomes extremely sick due to a condition called preeclampsia. Our current treatments for preeclampsia don’t work sufficiently well in everyone. Through my research, I aim to develop new and better treatments that will allow women with even the worst preeclampsia to continue their pregnancy so that their baby can be born better grown and more healthy.
