Purpose:
Grant funding will support the development of a novel COVID-19 spike protein vaccine product using its needle-free skin patch and rapidly progressing into Phase II clinical studies. The vaccine patch will be suitable for storage at elevated temperature and low skilled user administration. The project aims to reduce the cost of COVID-19 booster vaccinations, ultimately reducing the public health and economic consequences of continued COVID-19 vaccinations and better prepare Australia and the world for future pandemics.
