Purpose:
Only 19% of the Australian public have a good understanding of dementia risk factors. Physical activity is a promising and affordable dementia prevention strategy. What people need is assistance, to enable them to make healthier choices whilst also giving them the opportunities to keep constant the behaviours they cannot, or prefer not, to change. We will co-design, implement and evaluate a first of its kind personalised dementia prevention physical activity intervention, called Small Steps.
