Purpose:
A reciprocal artist residency in commemoration of Australia and Vietnamese participation in the Vietnam war. One Australian and one Vietnamese artist will be selected for commission and undertake a residency in the other country. The artists will be asked to produce a new work; or body of work, depending on their practice) that interprets the shared experience of both Australia and Vietnam, while exploring the contemporary legacy and resonance of this history.
