Improving the physical and mental health of people born with innate variations of sex characteristics
Purpose:
New benchmarks for clinical care of people with innate variations of sex characteristics are being set, led by policy developments in the ACT and recommendations by the Australian Human Rights Commission. The team will create new approaches and knowledge. The project will evaluate models of care and psychosocial support for people with IVSCs and their families. It will develop new ethical frameworks and increase understanding through a research to better identify the needs of people with IVSCs.
