Purpose:
This project will design Area Navigation and Global Navigation Satellite System (RNAV GNSS) Instrument Flight Procedures for the Shire of Gnowangerup Airstrip. This will assist aircraft approaching Gnowangerup to navigate at safe altitudes and in all weather conditions and also mitigate noise at the airstrip. The project will enhance pilot and passenger safety and access for all users including the Royal Flying Doctor Service and other essential aero–medical services.
