Purpose:

Contact Local Solar Provider and get advise and quote on best option for us to install solar panels on the Rugby Club roof so as to reduce our energy consumption, - Apply for available grants to assist in funding the on-site solar renewable energy system, - Powering Communities Program Grant approval, - Engage local Solar company (SSSolar) to install solar Array as per quoted works. Funding from Powering Communities Program Grant and Rugby club funds, - Set up club house electrical equipment to be used primarily during daylight hours when solar system producing power as such reducing our energy consumption from the grid, - Monitor clubhouse energy use on Solar app provided by SSSolar to ensure system functioning properly, - Benefit as a club with reduced quarterly energy bills giving the club extra funds to put towards promoting and encouraging participation in Rugby at Scone (Improving our facilities).
