This Grant is provided to Queensland Remote Aboriginal Media (QRAM) to deliver the project: ‘Stayin' eSafe’.
This Grant will meet six objectives of the Online Safety Grants Program and support the ‘preparing our communities’ focus area.
The project will co-design engaging and understandable online safety education resources for use with remote Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities around Queensland. The co-design phase will be conducted in at least 4 remote communities and involve a 3-stage process to ensure participants are able to feedback into the production process. The format of the resources will include six 60-second animations and eight 30-second radio segments.
The animations and audio segments will be distributed through community networks in 16 regional and remote communities in Queensland, and broadcast on over 100 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander radio stations nationally.
