Purpose:
The purpose of the Grant is to provide students with skills and connections to future Vocational Education and Training (VET) pathways for employment opportunities into the horticulture, rural operations, agriculture and conservation industry sectors on completion of their education in Gympie, Queensland. The Grant will directly support industry needs and address the skills shortages in the horticulture, rural operations, agriculture and conservation industry by providing training in a skill set of six (6) accredited units of competency to Year 11 and 12 students from Gympie State High School, QLD.
