Purpose:
This project aims to develop a blood flow based miniaturised system for the screening of blood platelet function. The device will have broad applications across clinical diagnostics for the screening of patients with both bleeding and clotting problems and will also be developed as a high throughput screening tool in the preclinical setting for the identification of new anti-clotting drugs.
