Grant Activity:
Optimisation of compositional data to inform lifestyle behaviour interventions
Purpose:
How people spend their time affects their mental and physical health. Yet, we don’t know what the ideal daily mix, or composition, of activities is for optimal health. My research will develop novel statistical methods to identify that ideal mix for a range of health outcomes. I will use large, population-based datasets for both adults and children. My findings will enable public health experts and clinicians to help people “build their best day”.
