REducing Sleep Apnoea for the PrEvention of Dementia (REShAPED): a multi-site feasibility RCT
Purpose:
Changes in overnight blood oxygen levels due to sleep apnoea are associated with increased risk for dementia. This feasibility study will screen older individuals with cognitive concerns for changes in blood oxygen due to sleep apnoea. We will determine if a personalised intervention targeting sleep apnoea is feasible and acceptable to older adults with memory complaints and how treatment correlates with memory outcomes at 6-mths and 2-years.
