Grant Activity:
The Platform trial In COVID-19 vaccine BOOsting (PICOBOO)
Purpose:
The C-19 pandemic has had a devastating impact globally. It was hoped that vaccination would represent a cure, however emerging evidence now suggests that this will not be achievable. Consequently, booster C-19 vaccine(s), in addition to the primary series, are likely to be required to protect against the impacts of disease.
We propose the Platform trial In COVID-19 vaccine BOOsting (PICOBOO) to evaluate comparative booster vaccine strategies to inform best practice within Australia.
