Purpose:
Key focus – reduce our carbon footprint and power consumption. Hence lowering our operating costs and increasing company profit margins. Next to payroll – electricity usage is our biggest expense. First improvement would be to replace older kitchen glass door fridges with environmentally friendly refrigerant and thermal glazing. Replace electric storage hot water units with a heat pump. Replace large glass windows in dining room with triple glazing. Replace non–inverter wall air conditioner with a split inverter unit. Replace a electric dryer with domestic heat pump. All these are achievable in a short time frame. We will be doing our bit for the environment, increasing profit margins allowing us to focus spending on other guest comforts.
