Purpose:
The purpose of the grant is to provide students with skills and connections to future Vocational Education and Training (VET) pathways providing employment opportunities into sheep shearing and woolhandling occupations in the agriculture industry sector on completion of their education in the Clare region, South Australia. The grant will directly support Agricultural industry needs and address the skills shortages in sheep shearing and woolhandling occupations by providing training in a skill set of six (6) accredited units of competency and training in non-accredited transition to employment skills.
