Purpose:
Expansion of South Western District Restoration Group exhibit and storage facilities. The proposed new sheds will expand exhibit and storage space as well as workshop areas for restoration of heritage farm machinery and equipment used for old machinery Rallies and community gatherings, including vintage tractor pulls and attracting up to 2000 visitors at the groups major annual event in March, plus additional visitors at other open days for functions including Men's Shed visits and historic tours and local School groups. The current site has a number of sheds constructed from fund raising activities on land in Cobden, owned by Corangamite Shire (Council) dedicated for Community use.
