Purpose:

Jaedon Shin: Double Moon (working title) is a solo exhibition to be presented in 2023 in the Kerry Gardner & Andrew Myer Project Gallery at Heide Museum of Modern Art. Highlighting the practice of Korean-born Melbourne-based Australian artist Jaedon Shin. Shin’s paintings poetically explore the complex experiences of migration. Double Moon: Jaedon Shin (working title) will be guest curated by Eliza Jung as part of Heide Museum of Modern Art’s emerging curators’ program. Funding from the Korea-Australia Foundation will be used to produce a video of the artist in-conversation and at work in his studio, profiling his practice to accompany the exhibition.
