Hotel Energy Efficiency improvement
Purpose:
Improve energy consumption and efficiency of the hotel by–
a) fitting a solar pre–heat to a bathroom hot water system
b) replacing existing fridges with new more efficient fridges (excludes cool rooms and bar fridges below 200 L).
c) replacing existing domestic–type washing machines (in small scale laundry) with more efficient energy labelled washing machines. Excludes commercial washing machines
d) replacing existing clothes dryers with heat pump dryers
e) replacing non–LED lighting with LED lighting
f) insulating a roof/ceiling with bulk insulation or foil
g) insulating walls
These activities will reduce the electricity and gas consumption of the hotel resulting in lower Carbon emissions.
