Purpose:
The Independent Association of Latin America and the Caribbean (AILAC) is leading a diverse range of countries in work to resolve elements of Article 6 of the Paris Agreement on climate change. This initiative provides a real prospect of moving negotiations forward, and finalising this workstream for the Bangkok negotiating session in late 2018. Australia's support will help AILAC meet the costs of the meeting.
