Purpose:
The project will undertake seasonal watering regimes, conduct surveys, coordinate national management to establish managed backup sub-population sites, maintain and monitor presently known populations and translocation of the Murray Hardyhead throughout multiple states within Australia. This will address water supply, pest fish and habitat management to reduce the risk of extinction of Murray Hardyhead and improve its recovery trajectory.
