Purpose:
Bioengineering involves creating replacement tissue using both artificial and biological material. The potential applications in medicine are endless. This project investigates how tissue engineering can be applied to structures in and around the eye to improve eye health. We aim to tackle progressively more complex structures in the hope that our work can have vision-restoring implications.
