Purpose:
HIV-1 cannot be eradicated by combination antiretroviral therapy (cART) alone. Understanding how HIV persists within the tissues of the central nervous system is paramount to HIV cure. This study will define the reservoirs of HIV existing in the brain tissue of virally suppressed individuals.
