Purpose:
The Central Coast Food Manufacturing Innovation Hub, a commercially based facility, is designed to grow the local food and beverage manufacturing sector. Its activities are focused on supporting small-to-medium enterprise (SME) food producers in scaling up their businesses through expanding their capabilities and operations. It will do this by providing access to commercial production facilities, experienced food manufacturers and commercial growth expertise. A Skills Hub will be established that will focus on the development of skills in the technologies employed on the site, in partnership with relevant training agencies. There will be pilot facilities for product development and research that support the regions capability and emerging food trends.
