A Queensland Tour of a Cancer Puzzle Room
Purpose:
Have you wondered what cancer is, how does it occur, and why some cancers are curable while others are not? To address this question, Excite Science has created the world s first cancer–themed puzzle room (or more commonly referred to as an escape room) whereby participants solve a series of puzzles that have been designed with the underlying principles of cancer biology. As no prior knowledge is required, were using an escape/puzzle room platform as a unique, engaging physical experience to talk about the complexities of cancer while breaking down misconceptions surrounding the disease. We re now touring the room across Queensland to expand our reach to the broader community.
