The project aims to reduce the risk of extinction and establish a platform for future conservation and recovery of Murray Hardyhead by implementing coordinated, multi-faceted, and species-scale management of the Endangered species across its range. The intention is to not only protect and maintain known populations but also establish backup populations and implement conservation translocations to establish new populations across the species range.
