Gold Coast STEM Excursion
Purpose:
MacKillop Catholic College will send 12 students from Year 10 and 11 from Drawin to the Gold Coast. They will attend Movie World to complete the Physics Program. This program gives students the opportunity to see how physics works in a real life context. Students will also visit the University Campus where they will undertake STEM activities and tour the campus. The aim of this trip is for students with a keen interest in STEM to get the opportunity to explore future careers available to them. The aim is to provide a career goal making them more likely to complete school and go into a STEM career and gain meaningful employment.
