Purpose:
Health and Medical Specialist students at Manea Senior College, undergo tuition into the exploration of career choices in health. This provides the students with the abilities to network, obtain clinical skills, and undergo work experience to further establish their interest and to pursue new careers in this ever changing field. Murdoch University third year IT students have developed Virtual Reality teaching projects in the field of health. These students have used VR haptic devices such as syringe and scalpel programs to produce teaching simulations. HMSP students will learn how use this technology. The students will also dissect the body in 3D form thus further enhancing their understanding of anatomy and physiology.
