Powering Communities
Grant Activity:
Replace existing air–conditioning
Purpose:
This project will allow Cerebral Palsy Alliance to replace a broken, inefficient air–conditioning system at Bird St House with a new, more practical and efficient split system that is better suited to the home and to our residents and staff. It will also allow us to replace the portable air–conditioning system used in the staff office that is costly to run and inadequate for the requirements for a permanent home for people with disability and the staff that support them. Permanent and efficient air–conditioning throughout the home will allow a more stable environment to be maintained throughout, without significant temperature (and therefore power and cost) fluctuations.
