Purpose:
Australia is a global leader in live animal exports, not only in quantity, but in quality as well. This is credit to the high standards of animal health and welfare upheld by the industry, however the accompanying compliance burden places significant costs on the industry.
TerraCipher will explore the commercial feasibility, viability and desirability of vision recognition technology developed at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) across key compliance related pain points in the live export supply chain. The outcomes of this project will provide TerraCipher and UTS with a clear business plan and development roadmap that will guide the partnership through the proof of concept phase to commercial adoption of the technology options.
