Purpose:
DesertSMART EcoFair is Central Australia's premier science and sustainability event. The EcoFair is an established and long standing event that attracts a wide local and interstate audience with a focus to educate, inspire and engage the community on science, sustainability and National Science Week. The 3 day event is presented by the Arid Lands Environment Centre (ALEC) and features key note speakers, local and interstate scientists and showcases local projects and organisations supporting the preservation and communication of local Indigenous knowledge and the promotion of science, innovation and technology.
