Purpose:
A grant has been awarded to boost the efforts of schools and pre–schools, community organisations and local councils to address crime and anti–social behaviour by funding crime prevention initiatives that benefit the wider community or community organisations. The expected outcome of the project is to protect people in the community who are at risk of attack, harassment or violence stemming from racial or religious intolerance. The grant is expected to fund the installation of security infrastructure including 8 CCTV cameras at key locations and secure the reception counter at Newton Moore Senior High School in South Bunbury, Western Australia.
