Laser Cutting and Increased CNC Capacity to Reduce Reliance on Imports
Burder Industries engineers agricultural products at its Wangaratta factory in support of the Australian farming industry. Its range of products include, front end loaders, forklifts, buckets, bales grabs, bales feeders and counterweights. Burder has survived the manufacturing demise in Australia because of its quality, but now needs to upgrade its technology through acquisition of a new Fibre optic Laser, CNC machine and Robotic Welder including fit-out. These machines will give Burder the capability to manufacturing its own hydraulic cylinders, and laser cut components for its own use. As well as making its own products, it will open up new markets with the additional capacity created.
