Purpose:
The project will support an industry-led program to: - Expand and promote the Ethical Clothing Australias (ECA) accreditation program arrangement across Australia and support ECAs transition towards sustainability. - Protect and uphold the working rights of Australian textile, clothing and footwear workers, including outworkers, by educating manufacturers on their legal obligations under the TCF Award 2020 as part of Ethical Clothing Australias accreditation and labelling program. - supporting Australian TCF businesses to capitalise on growing demand for ethically produced locally manufactured clothing, and - Improve consumer and general information on ethical TCF products and businesses.
