Fund the Asian Network for Free Elections' (ANFREL) project Asian Electoral Review: Documenting Challenges and Recommending Reforms.

Purpose:

The purpose of this Grant is to assist ANFREL's delivery of a comprehensive analysis of the current electoral challenges faced by 15 Asian countries and offer recommendations for electoral reform through producing a publication. It will be a valuable resource for policymakers, academics, and CSOs seeking to understand and address issues related to electoral reform. The 15 focus countries for this project include Bangladesh, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Maldives, Mongolia, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, and Timor-Leste. The project will involve extensive research, data collection, and analysis, and will be authored by 15 writers and an editor. Upon completion, ANFREL will launch the publication in a public launch event and use it as an advocacy document for promoting fair and democratic electoral processes in Asia
