Overview
Project Background and Description
An Energy Audit was conducted for the Community Centre and buildings in order to help establish feasible avenues of reducing ever-increasing power costs, decreasing our carbon footprint and assisting in creating a sustainable future for all generations. This will be done by implementing a green and an environmentally friendly power energy consumption platform.
The installation of a 19.89kW Solar System will assist in reducing the energy costs of the centre by a projected 42% annually, with this installation being an integral part of the centres energy efficient strategy. The Leichhardt Community Group Inc. would not be unable to undertake a large project such as this, without the generous support of the Australian Federal Government.
