Solar panels for BMTA
Purpose:
In partnership with Brisbane City Council, BMTA is constructing a new clubhouse valued at $2.6million. Unfortunately, the scope of this project does not include solar panels so we will have a start of the art clubhouse which will not have the best in energy efficient technology. We have already spoken with Brisbane City Council regarding funding for this project to ensure allowances for solar power can be included within construction. We intend on installing the largest system that is deemed suitable for our facility to maximise the return on investment.
Demolition of our existing clubhouse is expected to begin in the next couple of weeks (early October 2021) with construction expected to conclude in March/April 2022.
