Purpose:
The Seven Point Pork Pre–Employment Program has been developed to increase opportunities for job seekers to gain employment in the meat industry. The project will provide 12 job seekers with industry specific training, work readiness skills and industry exposure over six weeks to better prepare them for entry level positions with Seven Point Pork, Port Wakefield. The training will take place on–site at Seven Point Pork’s Port Wakefield site, and has been developed in partnership with Seven Point Pork, JobActive Partnering Provider MADEC, and delivery partner Independent Institute of Food Processing.
