Purpose:
This project will develop a process to refine cobalt concentrate produced at Pure Battery Technologies' (PBT) refinery. This process is aimed at generating products such as cobalt salts and value added mixed-metal lithium ion battery precursors. The research will add value to PBT's patented mineral processing technology, and improved methods developed in this project will optimise battery performance and integrate recycled battery feedstock.
